Well….almost everything. Seeing your gorgeous photographs being overcropped and over-filtered on save-the-dates from those discount stationery sites is breaking your heart.

As a member of my save-the-date partnership, you will be able to put a stop to the crop and take your client experience to the next level with luxury save-the-dates that give you peace of mind, and your clients more time.

Here's how it works.


For the most part, you’ll keep doing what you’ve always done. The only difference is, you’ll add Save the Dates to a select few packages. When a new client picks a package that includes save the dates, you’ll just complete a form (that I’ll have already sent you) with the client’s information so I know that a new project is starting.


When the day of their engagement shoot arrives, you’ll work your magic behind the lens. While you’re working your editing magic, I’ll work directly with each couple to capture the details I need to use as inspiration for their save-the-dates. I’ll use your amazing photos to sketch up 2-3 different design options for your client.


Once I finalize their design, your work is done. I’ll take it from here, sending them off to the printer, assembling and mailing. That’s right! This is a hands-off experience for you and your couple. Once their save-the-dates are printed and ready--they'll arrive at your client's doorstep ready for snail mail.

How much should I increase my photography packages to include custom save the dates?

The average package costs $590 for 50 custom save the dates that include a save-the-date with an addressed, stamped + lined envelope.

I know that everyone’s ideal clients expect different things. As a result, I offer a variety of save-the-date packages. To see all my packages submit my Partnership information request.

Do you only work with Nebraska Photographers?

Although Revolution Paper Co. is located in Lincoln, NE, I design stationery for couples and party planners (and photographers) all around the world. (My designs have gone as far as Australia which is literally the opposite end of the world!)

How long does the whole design process take?

As a member of the Save-the-Date Partnership, your projects get top priority on my calendar! I try to have the sketches of the design completed prior to your engagement session, to speed up the design process. So from finalizing the design details to delivery of the save the dates takes just 2-3 weeks.

What type of printing is used for the save the dates?

All the save-the-date partnership packages include digital (flat) printed save the dates.

If you would like to include foil, letterpress or thermography for your clients save-the-dates, you can submit a request for a custom partnership package with these printing styles included.

Please note that thermographic, letterpress and foil press printing methods can be costly and I would budget an additional $800-$1500 dollars in your calculations.

How soon do you need to know about a new partnership project?

As soon as your clients book their engagement session. As a partnership member, your couple gets priority on my design schedule over new inquiries and the sooner I can sharpie them in my calendar the better.

I’m a newborn/lifestyle, instead of save-the-dates could we do XXX?

Absolutely! I’d love to curate a custom package that fits your brand of photography. When you complete this form, choose, “get info on a custom partnership package!”

Do you offer digital downloads or custom templates?

I do not offer digital downloads or custom stationery templates at this time. My mission is to make sure your custom stationery suite is exactly what you envisioned and so I have partnered with the best printers and hand assemble every suite to make sure that happens.

Photographers can expect to pay $467 for a set of (50) custom save the dates (Save-the-Date, Pre-Addressed Envelope with Liner and Postage). Your total could be more or less since pricing varies based on the package selected and the number of save-the-dates you wish to include in your photography packages.

I recommend incorporating this cost (plus a little buffer) into your photography packages. Be sure to let your clients know that this is a gift, an additional service so as to prevent anyone from asking for a discount. (Let’s be honest, we all know that’ll come up!)
